The Original Panama Hats are unique as the straws, Toquilla Straws are specially treated for 1 month before it was weaved into hats; it is rollable for storage when traveling. This is a character only the original maker in Ecuador masters. Feel the texture, it is much softer, and the shape can be restored easily in case of a squish. The brand was made fame by US President Roosevelt when he visited the Panama Canal wearing the hats thus called the Panama Hat.
